Liao Luo Coastal Park Introduction
Liao Luo Bay is located on the southeast coast of Kinmen. In the past, it became a major target of shelling by the People's Liberation Army of China due to its responsibility for transporting supplies during various battles. The scenes of Kuomintang troops bravely landing amidst gunfire have become poignant and memorable historical images of Liao Luo Bay. Today, Liao Luo has been developed into Liao Luo Coastal Park, featuring clean, sprawling beaches and bright fishing village scenery, with facilities such as a visitor center, green spaces, pavilions, and showers, making it suitable for families to enjoy water activities. The tranquil beauty of Liao Luo Bay at sunset is unique. The coastal park connects with Matsu Park at the southern end, where the statue of Matsu, standing on a high platform, has become a new landmark of the area.
