Liao Chaio Coastal Park Introduction
Liao Luo Bay is located on the southeastern coast of Kinmen. In the past, it played a crucial role in supplying resources during various battles and became a major target of artillery fire from the People's Liberation Army. The daring scenes of the Kuomintang soldiers landing under heavy fire have already become a poignant and memorable part of Liao Luo Bay's history. Today, Liao Luo Bay, with its stretching clean beaches and bright fishing village scenery, has been developed into Liao Luo Coastal Park, equipped with visitor centers, green spaces, pavilions, and shower facilities, making it suitable for families to enjoy water activities and wave walking. The tranquility of Liao Luo Bay during sunset offers a unique beauty. The coastal park is connected to Matsu Park at the southern end, where a statue of Matsu standing on a high platform has become a new landmark in the area.
