Liao Luo Coastal Park Introduction
Liao Luo Bay is located on the southeastern coast of Kinmen. In past battles, it was a primary target for artillery attacks by the People's Liberation Army due to its critical role in logistical support. The daring beach landings by the Kuomintang troops amidst gunfire have become a poignant and memorable historical scene of Liao Luo Bay. Today, Liao Luo has been developed into Liao Luo Coastal Park, featuring clean, endless beaches and bright fishing village scenery, along with facilities such as a visitor center, green areas, pavilions, and showers, making it suitable for families to enjoy water activities. The sunset at Liao Luo Bay reveals a unique tranquility. The coastal park connects with Matsu Park at the southern end, where a statue of Matsu, standing on a high platform, has become a new landmark in the area.
