Liau Luo Coastal Park Introduction
Liao Luo Bay is located on the southeastern coast of Kinmen. In the past, it became a primary target for artillery attacks by the People's Liberation Army of China due to its crucial role in logistics during various battles. The daring attempts of Kuomintang troops to land under heavy gunfire have left memorable and poignant images in the history of Liao Luo Bay. Today, Liao Luo has been developed into Liao Luo Coastal Park, featuring clean, pristine beaches and picturesque fishing village scenery. The park includes a visitor center, green spaces, pavilions, and shower facilities, making it a great place for families to play in the water and enjoy the waves. The tranquility of Liao Luo Bay at sunset offers a unique beauty. The coastal park is connected to Mazu Park at the southern end, where a statue of Mazu, standing on a high platform, has become a new landmark for the area.
