Liao Luo Coastal Park Introduction
Liao Luo Bay is located on the southeast coast of Kinmen. In the past, it became a primary target for artillery fire from the People's Liberation Army of China due to its crucial role in transporting supplies during various battles. The scenes of the Kuomintang troops desperately landing under heavy fire have long become a poignant and memorable part of Liao Luo Bay's history. Today, Liao Luo has been developed into Liao Luo Coastal Park, featuring clean, stretching beaches and bright fishing village scenery. Facilities such as a visitor center, green spaces, pavilions, and wash areas have been established, making it suitable for the whole family to enjoy water activities and play in the waves. The tranquility of Liao Luo Bay at sunset adds to its beauty. The coastal park is connected to the southern end's Matsu Park, where a statue of Matsu, standing on a high platform, has become a new landmark of the area.
