Liao Luo Coastal Park Introduction
Liao Luo Bay is located on the southeastern coast of Kinmen. In the past, it became a primary target for bombardment by the People's Liberation Army due to its crucial role in transporting supplies during multiple battles. The dramatic scenes of the Kuomintang troops daringly landing under gunfire have become a poignant and memorable part of Liao Luo Bay's history. Today, Liao Luo has been transformed into Liao Luo Coastal Park, featuring pristine beaches and a picturesque fishing village landscape. The park is equipped with a visitor center, green spaces, pavilions, and shower facilities, making it suitable for families to enjoy water activities. The tranquility of Liao Luo Bay during sunset adds to its beauty. The coastal park is connected to Matsu Park at the southern end, where a statue of Mazu perched on a high platform has become a new landmark in the area.
