Shihding Matsu Pepper Sausage Introduction
Taipei's Backyard - Shiding District. In the summer of 2004, while trying to develop various types of sausages, the founder of Shiding Matsu Sausage, Xu Shihong, accidentally spilled ground Matsu ingredients into the sausage mixture that he was not entirely satisfied with. Although he was very upset about this mistake, he could not bear to waste the ingredients, so he decided to serve it as dinner for his family. Unexpectedly, this mistake resulted in the creation of a unique sausage - the Matsu Sausage, which has a tender and invigorating texture with a refreshing coolness, similar to the delightful feeling of eating ice cream in summer. The Matsu Sausage is truly a beautiful mistake! This accident brought about a new concept of healthy sausages, and thus "Shiding Matsu Sausage" was born.
