Shiding Mazu Sausage Introduction
The back garden of Taipei—Shiding District. In the summer of 2004, Xu Shihong, the founder of Shiding Makau Sausage, was deeply immersed in trying to develop various kinds of sausages. During a moment of distraction, he accidentally spilled finely powdered Makau ingredients into the already seasoned sausage filling, which he was not yet satisfied with. Although Boss Xu was very frustrated, he couldn't bear to waste the ingredients and, feeling uneasy, decided to make it into a finished product for his family's dinner. At that moment, an unexpected occurrence happened. A mistake led to the creation of a unique product with exceptional flavor—the Makau Sausage. Its texture is soft yet robust, delivering a refreshing coolness reminiscent of the delightful sensation of eating ice cream in summer. The Makau Sausage is truly a beautiful mistake! This unexpected event introduced everyone to a new concept of healthy sausage, and thus, "Shiding Makau Sausage" was born.
