Shatou Palace Rice Dumpling Introduction
In Tainan, the "Cai Zong" refers to peanut rice dumplings wrapped in banana leaves, which are a common breakfast food. Lao Zheng's Cai Zong has a unique feature: it does not use peanut powder. Lao Zheng says that their peanuts and glutinous rice are of the highest quality, and adding peanut powder would mask the original flavor of the ingredients.
