Basha Wali Village Introduction
The exterior walls of the Bashawali Village are adorned with totems symbolizing the Amis people's dances, making it highly recognizable when passing along Taiwan Highway 11. It is easy to identify this as an Amis village. At the entrance to Fugang Harbor along Taiwan Highway 11, you can see the village gathering place of Bashawali, which is where the village holds its harvest festival every July. Just north of Little Yehliu Scenic Area, the Jialulan Recreation Area is a great spot to enjoy the sea view, covering nearly three hectares. Originally formed from the accumulated debris during the construction of Zhihang Base, it has been planned into a large green space featuring numerous driftwood artworks by indigenous artists, creating a natural yet artistically enriched environment. 【Source: Tribal Backpackers Taiwan Taitung Tribal Travel Guide】
