Chimei Cafe Introduction
Mr. Hsu Wen-long, founder of Chi Mei Corporation, loves art and leisure, which has led him to guide Chi Mei Group in spreading the seeds of art. He established the Chi Mei Museum, which collects world-class art pieces and is open for free visits. To provide visitors with a comfortable resting space, the opportunity for the establishment of Chi Mei Café emerged. Chi Mei Café was established by Chi Mei Group's affiliated enterprise, Chi Mei Foods, which is wholly invested in it. By integrating the cultural resources of the Chi Mei Cultural Foundation, the journey of an art music café was launched, allowing visiting friends to enjoy the aroma of coffee while being greeted by the breeze of Western art. The first store of Chi Mei Café, located at the museum, opened on January 1, 2000. After a nine-year journey, Chi Mei Café started from the museum, served affiliated enterprises, and expanded outside to TSMC Sixth Plant, Industrial Technology Research Institute Headquarters, TongHua Electronics, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University Chi Mei Building, and Chi Mei Happiness Experience Center (Dream Mall), with a total of 14 stores established to date.
