Chimei Café Introduction
Mr. Hsu Wen-long, the founder of Chimei Industrial and the group leader, has a passion for art and leisure, leading the Chimei Group to spread the seeds of art. He established the Chimei Museum, which collects world-class artworks that are open for free visits. To provide visitors with a comfortable resting space, this inspired the establishment of Chimei Café. This café is fully invested by Chimei Foods, a subsidiary of Chimei Group, and combines cultural resources from the Chimei Cultural Foundation to embark on an artistic music café journey, allowing visiting friends to enjoy the aroma of coffee while being embraced by Western art. The first Chimei Café branch, located at the museum, opened on January 1, 2000. Over the course of nine years, Chimei Café started from the museum, served related enterprises, and expanded externally to TSMC's Plant 6, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Tongbao Optoelectronics, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University Chimei Building, and Chimei Happy Lifestyle Experience Pavilion (Dream Mall). To date, 14 branches have been established.
