Chimei Cafe Introduction
The founder of Chimei Industrial, Mr. Hsu Wen-Lung, has a passion for art and leisure, which has led him to lead the Chimei Group in spreading the seeds of art. He established the Chimei Museum, which collects world-class artworks and offers free admission for visitors. To enhance the visitor experience by providing a comfortable resting space, this inspiration led to the establishment of the Chimei Cafe. The Chimei Cafe is fully invested by Chimei's affiliated company, Chimei Foods, and it's developed in conjunction with the cultural resources of the Chimei Cultural Foundation, embarking on a journey of an art and music cafe that allows visiting friends to enjoy the aroma of coffee while embracing the influence of Western art. The first Chimei Cafe opened at the museum location on January 1, 2000. Over the nine-year journey, Chimei Cafe has expanded from the museum to serve affiliated enterprises and has grown to include locations at TSMC's sixth factory, the Industrial Technology Research Institute headquarters, TPK Holding, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University’s Chimei Building, and the Chimei Happiness Experience Center (Dream Mall), with a total of 14 locations established to date.
