Chimei Cafe Introduction
The founder of Chimei Corporation, Mr. Hsu Wen-Long, is passionate about art and leisure, which led him to guide the Chimei Group in spreading the seeds of art. He established the Chimei Museum, which collects world-class art pieces and is open for free public visits. To fulfill the intention of providing visitors with a comfortable resting space, the opportunity to establish the Chimei Café arose. The Chimei Café was founded by Chimei Group's affiliated company, Chimei Foods, through 100% investment. Combining cultural resources from the Chimei Cultural and Educational Foundation, it embarked on a journey as an art, music, and café space, allowing visiting friends to enjoy the aroma of coffee while being gently embraced by Western art. The first location of Chimei Café, the Museum Store, opened on January 1, 2000. Over a nine-year journey, Chimei Café started from the museum, then expanded to serve affiliated enterprises and branched out to TSMC Fab 6, the Industrial Technology Research Institute headquarters, Tong Hsing Electronic Industries, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University Chimei Building, and the Chimei Happy Life Experience Pavilion (Dream Mall), establishing a total of 14 locations to date.
