Victory Breakfast Introduction
Once you're at National Cheng Kung University, don't miss the Shandong scallion pancakes at "Victory Breakfast," located right next to the campus. Unlike regular scallion pancakes that are topped with thinly sliced scallions, Victory's version is filled with generous amounts of fresh scallions, baked to a crispy exterior. With every bite, the scallion flavor fills your mouth. This recipe was learned by the owner, Lin Chang-Hsiung, from a friend in Shandong. Each pancake costs only 15 NTD and has been comforting the stomachs of countless NCKU students for many years. Victory Breakfast operates daily from 4 PM to 10 AM the next day. In addition to scallion pancakes, the pork omelet is also highly recommended, featuring a traditional omelet filled with lettuce and a pork hamburger patty, which is very soft and tender. Almost everything at Victory Breakfast is delicious.
