Victory Breakfast Introduction
When you're at National Cheng Kung University, don't miss the Shandong-style scallion pancakes from "Victory Breakfast" right next to the campus. While ordinary scallion pancakes have a thin layer of scallions on top, Victory's Shandong scallion pancakes are filled with plenty of fresh scallions inside, baked to a crisp outside. When you take a bite, the aroma of scallions fills your mouth. This recipe was learned by owner Lin Chang-hsiung from a friend in Shandong, and each pancake costs only 15 NTD, comforting many students at Cheng Kung University for decades. Victory Breakfast operates daily from 4 PM to 10 AM the next day. In addition to the scallion pancakes, the pork egg pancake is also recommended, which features a traditional egg pancake filled with lettuce and a pork patty—very tender. Almost everything at Victory Breakfast is delicious.
