Victory Breakfast Introduction
When you visit Cheng Kung University, don't miss the Shandong scallion pancakes at "Victory Breakfast" nearby the campus. Unlike typical scallion pancakes that have a thin layer of scallions on top, Victory's Shandong scallion pancakes are filled with a generous amount of fresh scallions inside, baked to a crisp on the outside. The scallion flavor bursts in your mouth with every bite, a recipe learned by owner Lin Chang-Hsiung from a friend in Shandong. At just 15 NTD each, these pancakes have comforted numerous Cheng Kung University students for decades. Victory Breakfast operates every day from 4 PM to 10 AM the following morning. Apart from scallion pancakes, their pork and egg pancakes are also highly recommended, which are made with traditional egg pancakes filled with lettuce and a pork hamburger patty, making it wonderfully tender. Almost everything at Victory Breakfast is delicious.
