Pacific Bicycle Museum Introduction
Starting from July 13, 2021, the Pacific Bicycle Company, located in the Xinshe District of Taoyuan City, will reopen and implement online and phone reservation systems. Known for its unique products, Birdy, often referred to as the "King of Folding Bicycles," has gained global popularity for nearly twenty years. The IF MODE has won the prestigious German IF Design Gold Award and the Taiwan Excellence Silver Award and is currently on display at the National Design Museum in the United States. The Lean and Mean bike, Reach, has won numerous competitions. The lightweight CarryMe has made its rounds across major cities such as New York, London, and Paris. Pacific’s product range is extensive and varied. It includes tricycles for rehabilitation for individuals with cerebral palsy, tricycles suitable for use in elevators, sidecar bicycles, stair-climbing bikes, rowing bikes, and four-wheelers for two riders. There is even an armored tricycle donated by the United Nations for use by citizens in demining areas in Ethiopia. Pacific Bicycle Company provides a research and development platform to assist design elites from various countries in developing products and starting businesses. Several types of folding bikes, tricycles, and mountain bikes available in the market come from Pacific Bicycle. The Pacific Bicycle Museum houses over 200 living bicycles, representing a snapshot of contemporary bicycle technology from around the world.
