Yong'an Fishing Port 50-Year-Old Restaurant Introduction

Recommended dishes from the 2016 certified restaurant in the "City of Ocean" include the signature three-cup squid, steamed stonefish with tree seeds, and century egg with sweet potato leaves. From a small noodle stall to one of the well-known restaurants near Yong'an Fishing Port, the 50-year-old establishment run by Boss Zhu has witnessed the transformation of the Xinwu area from desolation to prosperity. As the third-generation operator, she grew up watching her elders diligently prepare meals for customers, which sparked her interest in running a restaurant. Every time she sees customers enjoying their food with satisfaction, it not only brings her joy but also adds a sense of mission. Delicacies not to be missed include Xinwu native goose, osmanthus three-point crab, signature sweet and sour fish, and Hakka crispy tofu. To ensure freshness and quality of the catch, many of the seafood served at this 50-year-old restaurant has been sourced from their own fishing boats. The old boss is the seasoned captain who catches the fish, which are then processed in the restaurant to offer seasonal seafood selections for customers. Looking to the future, Boss Zhu expresses an international vision, stating, "Yong'an Fishing Port is already looking to the world; many international tourists are coming from afar. I am willing to make friends through cuisine and share the best and freshest dishes with friends both locally and abroad." Source: Taoyuan Guest...
